Responsibilities of the WFS Professional Services teams:

  • Design Professional Services offerings
  • Deliver Professional Services to clients
  • Design Consulting Services offerings
  • Generate pipeline for Consulting Services
  • Deliver Consulting Services to clients
  • On-sell products to client

Key Responsibilities

  • Standardise and align Professional Services across the WFS portfolio
  • Manage Professional Services teams globally ensuring offer is consistent, repeatable and of a high quality
  • Develop the WFS Consulting Services market offer starting with repeatable, packaged solutions connected to existing data sets and expanding into higher value workforce planning and talent management solutions
  • Design go-to-market approach including proposals / bid management approach, aligning with existing sales teams
  • Generate a strong, sustainable pipeline of consulting opportunities
  • Generate on-sell opportunities and build a pipeline for WFS (& Pearson) products and services
  • Develop new business opportunities and manage client relationships
  • Establish WFS Consulting Services teams in US and UK initially and expand geographically over time
  • Identify market gaps and provide professional solutions for clients building new propositions as required
  • Manage WFS Professional & Consulting Services team to achieve annual revenue and sales targets
  • Maximise client satisfaction for services provided
  • Determine effective solutions for current issues and presenting business proposals to clients
  • Oversee implementation of solutions ensuring that a company has the necessary resources and support to successfully conclude projects
  • Allocate resources appropriately to projects, balancing skills with client needs
  • Revenue size this role will be managing will be $5-$10m initially with future growth.

Skills & knowledge

  • Strong commercial acumen and an in-depth understanding of business operations and processes
  • Proven solution sales, business development and client handling experience, along with balancing sales with implementation feasibility
  • Knowledge of commercial buying processes and competitive tender and pitching experience
  • Deep knowledge and experience of strategic workforce management and talent management markets and solutions
  • Relevant, existing client relationships
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic planning abilities to come up with effective solutions
  • The ability to form strong and trusting relationships with clients
  • Strong leadership skills to ensure that all the staff are invested in change and have the same vision
  • The ability to cope with change and adapt to different work environments
  • Providing strategic advice to senior management on business operations and goals
  • Developing and executing long-term plans for a companys growth and development
