The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Senior Ultrasound Technologist to work on the UHealth Doral Campus. The Senior Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate, and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data. Moreover, this employee schedules and coordinates tests, records test results and prepares and maintains operational logs. The incumbent also calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies.
Position may require some travel to multiple OBGYN offices.
The sonographer performs scans at multiple sites for obstetric, gynecologic and infertility patients.
The individual in this position is responsible for performing sonographic exams and assisting in ultrasound-guided office procedures via transabdominal and transvaginal instrumentation.
The ultrasound technologist analyzes sonograms, synthesizes sonographic information and medical history, and communicates sonographer's impression via written reports to the appropriate physician.
Proficient in all Level 2 scans (Anatomy scans/EFWs/BPP/TVS, NT and Amniocentesis). Fetal Echo a plus but will train.

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Certification in relevant specialty or field
Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
