Job Description
Sr. Project Coordinator
The department of SCCC has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Sr. Project Coordinator to work at the UHealth Campus. This position will work with the Executive Director for the Sylvester Office of Research Administration. Will be responsible for the coordination, follow through, and resolution of top level confidential and complex matters. This position also handles duties which include project coordination, management, as well as financial analysis for specific projects as assigned. The incumbent will also act as a liaison for Sylvester with various departments and offices within the School of Medicine.

The following job description reflects the support that this position must provide. Specific responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
Work with Executive Director to develop tracking system to assess progress in achieving established targets related to Sylvester Office of Research. This includes tracking, maintaining information and preparing reports.
Monitor budget expenses assignable to the Sylvester Office of Research budget.
Work with Executive Director to initiate and collect information for the development of reports to Sylvester Leadership.
Assist Executive Director with implementing strategic initiatives. This includes developing a plan and assisting with execution.
Assist with the planning and execution of special projects. This includes preparing timelines, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and developing reports with outcomes.
Work with Executive Director to develop and implement a tracking system for return on investment. This system will be used to assess growth and progress in achieving established targets related to funding requests and developmental grant awards. This includes tracking, maintain information and reporting financial and research goals.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or other related field required, Master's degree preferred.
One year effective work-related experience required. Experience in project and communications desired.
Computer skills including MS Office products, Internet, and general computer proficiency required.
Excellent English skills (both verbal and written), organizational skills, time management, prioritizing tasks, detail-oriented and multi-tasking required.
Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
