The Stockroom Associate is to perform all assigned duties with minimal direction. This job requires self-motivation and teamwork with co-workers in the main stockroom, the machine shop, and assembly areas. This individual is encouraged to learn modern warehouse operations, methods, equipment, and facilities, while maintaining a strong attention to detail and work ethic.

Duties And Responsibilities

* Move raw materials and finished goods to and from Production areas.
* Process receiving activities following all procedures and guidelines.
* Complete system transactions for every physical movement in a timely and accurate manner.
* Replenish pick locations as needed.
* Load and unload trucks.
* Participate and assist inventory cycle counts, reconciliation, and investigations.
* Pick product for customer orders accurately and efficiently.
* Ensure material is accurately marked with relevant information, including part number, quantity and date received.
* Safely operate all material handling equipment.
* Access and use SAP as needed.
* Required to perform general daily warehouse duties (trash removal, housekeeping activities, etc.).

Education and Experience

* High School degree or equivalent with strong reading, and math skills.
* Previous training in total warehouse and logistics methods, equipment, and facilities desired.
* Previous experience in working with warehouse computer systems or PC applications desired.
* Experience with SAP a plus.

Physical Requirements

* Lifting 44 lbs. Occasionally (Up to 33% of shift) from 0-30"
* Lifting 20 lbs. Frequently (34-66% of shift) from 28-24"
* Standing/Walking Constantly (67-100% of shift) on cement floors
* Forward Reaching Frequently (34-66% of shift)
