Responsibilities

• Prepare technical illustrations and parts lists utilizing engineering models, drawings, physical parts, previously prepared manuals, electronic parts lists and other information.

• Create and illustrate Owner's Manuals, Service Parts Manuals, Technician's Repair and Service Manuals and Field Kit Installation Instructions.

• Work with Engineering, Customer Care, and Service Parts to determine service items for Parts Manuals.

• Conduct peer-reviews and revise publications prior to distribution.

• Provide recommendation concerning improvements to technical communication techniques and keeps current on trade practices.

• Utilize computer generated artwork and text to create documents.

• Follow and maintain the departmental processes and procedures.

• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required

• Years of Experience: 3 or more years of relevant experience required

• Software Knowledge: Previous experience with Adobe FrameMaker, Illustrator and Photoshop or similar software is preferred

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
