Posted By: darryl jones on May 24, 2023 This has not been an easy road. But there are those that understand I have been a photographer and advocate for black spaces for quite some time. I started my quest to serve universities and career colleges in 2011. In this short time, I have realized how we can be our worst enemy in the marketplace. Of the 100+ HBCUs in the country, there are only 20 that uses a black-owned company for grad services. Many of the HBCUs and PWI colleges are funneling money thru white-owned companies to the tune of 9 billion dollars. Not one black-owned or minority-owned company is getting a piece of that pie. 2019 we launched our own grad fair.
