Lauryn Hill is Joining Tom Joyner's Fantastic Voyage To Raise Funds For HBCUs
Posted By: Sofía Montiel on November 29, 2022 Lauryn Hill will join Tom Joyner for a 2023 cruise organized by the ex-radio host’s philanthropic foundation to raise money for supporting students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Joyner’s “Ultimate Party with a Purpose” will set sail from Fort Lauderdale on May 20. After stops at the beautiful ports of Cozumel, Mexico; Falmouth, Jamaica; and Cayman Islands, along with some fun-filled days at sea, the voyage will conclude a week later. Announcing the cruise, Joyner said he is very excited that Lauryn Hill is performing on the “Tom Joyner Fantastic Voyage 2023.” “She is one of the best of all time. Cruisers coming to Party with a Purpose and help raise money for HBCU scholarships won’t be disappointed with what will be an amazing show,” he said about the legendary singer and rapper. The 2023 edition of the “Tom Joyner Fantastic Voyage” will feature 40 live performances, appearances from celebrities, seminars and theme nights. The Tom Joyner Foundation said in a press release that 80 percent of the cabins are already sold out. The remaining cabins are on sale now at Fantastic Voyage's Webpage.
