His father played a variety of instruments such as piano, guitar, and the congos. At the young age of 6 months, the family moved to Los Angeles, settling in Inglewood, California. As a West Coast rapper, Nehru’s rap style is influenced by the fun-loving, party up-tempo and laid-back beats that the coast is known for. Over the years, the content of Nehru’s music has changed with his experiences as he pens stories about his confidence, relationships and motivation to navigate everyday life. He’s worked with the likes of Chino XL, 2nd II None, and DJ Quik, to name a few. Recently, Nehru has featured on Blakkazz KK’s latest album DediKKated with “Love It” and “On and On.” This September, Nehru dropped four singles off of his upcoming album, BO$$ CITY, “I Need,” “Choose Up,” “Stuck On Me,” and “Sucka 4 Luv,” out now on all platforms.
