Charles DeSassure is a tenured Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Coordinator of the Information Security Program at Tarrant County College District (Southeast Campus) and Enterprise Efficiency Moderator for http://eetimes.com, an online electronics industry magazine published by United Business Media. A former department chair, DeSassure has taught distance learning courses since 2002 for both Dallas County Community College and Tarrant County College District. Prior to joining Tarrant County College District, DeSassure worked in corporate America where he traveled nationwide for over ten years and have had experience as a MIS manager, information system analyst, field technology analyst, and LAN Administrator/microcomputer specialist. DeSassure has received teaching honors and is a regular presenter at educational conferences nationwide. He is the Consulting Editor of the textbook Windows 7, Enterprise Desktop Support Technician published by Wiley & Sons Publishing Company, 2011. His area of specialization includes information assurance and end user applications.
