The Customer Experience (Marketing) team works to showcase our brand through the lens of expertise and love. They work to provide a personalized experience for our consumers backed by best-in-class, data-driven marketing capabilities. The Customer Experience team focuses across 4 departments including, Marketing, Creative, Communications, and our Loyalty & CRM team. Everyone brings his or her own point of view to create a unique experience for the pets and pet parents.

We are looking for an Email Campaign Developer to join our Loyalty & Personalization Team. This candidate will be responsible for end-to-end technical coding for email campaigns (including building, proofing, editing, and testing).  We are looking for a pixel perfect developer with a high-standard of quality.  This position requires partnering with the creative team in bringing their vision to life, understanding the needs of the business and utilizing email technologies to deliver a best-in-class user experience. The individual who can be successful in this role will be a detail-oriented problem-solver, able to work in a dynamic team environment while also being able to efficiently prioritize and manage their own work load, and have a strong desire to learn and take extreme pride in their own work.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

• Code and test promotional, trigger and transactional content on SalesForce Marketing Cloud platform that supports a mobile first, responsive inbox.
• Perform extensive technical quality assurance
• Reliably provide support tasks and complete projects outside of normal work hours when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience coding for email campaigns across multiple email clients in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Ability to code HTML/CSS without the use of a WYSIWIG editor
• Expertise with HTML, CSS, Outlook Conditional CSS and dynamic content optimized for email deployment
• Experience with email testing software (render testing)

TECHNICAL SKILLS 

• Fluency in HTML5, CSS3, and Photoshop.
• Proficient in cross browser development.
• Basic AmpScript knowledge required
• Litmus experience preferred.
• Workfront experience preferred.

 

EDUCATION:

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
