About the Job
PetSmart’s Talent Acquisition team is passionate about pets and people! We are hiring a Talent Acquisition Coordinator who will support the recruiting team in all phases of the interview process. With a desire to learn and contribute in a team environment, this critical role facilitates a positive candidate experience from 1st interview to the 1st day!
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
You’ll create relationships across HR, hiring managers, and candidates to ensuring everyone has a positive recruiting experience!
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Partner with recruiters to facilitate seamless interview process (they are really fun people!)
Coordinate interview schedules with multiple hiring panels (and have patience when reschedules are needed!)
Book candidate travel and manage expense reimbursements
Process and track candidate onboarding including tasks related to background checks, relocation, employee referrals, and new hire documents
Assist with operational projects and process improvements (we have a lot of new projects in the works!)
Pull standard reporting as needed to support talent acquisition operations and new initiatives
Manage and maintain our Talent Acquisition Center to provide an amazing on-site experience for our candidates and associates

Sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities at once (and resiliency when priorities change)
Excellent organization skills – check lists, post its, calendars, whatever works best for you!
Ability to think quickly and be resourceful when tasks need to get done
Effective communication styles including verbal, written, and meme-related
Experience with Excel and ATS platforms a huge plus
